ALL RIGHT, WE'LL GET GOING.

[1. CONVENE]

START WITH ROLL CALL.

GO AROUND THE ROOM AND THEN FINISH WITH ZOOM.

CALL] ALL RIGHT.

NEXT ITEM IS TO ADOPT THE AGENDA.

SO IF ANYBODY HAS ANY COMMENTS, ADDITIONS, SUBTRACTIONS, ETCETERA, FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN NOW.

OTHERWISE WE'LL ENTERTAIN A MOTION TO APPROVE THE AGENDA AS IT'S CURRENTLY WRITTEN.

MOVE TO ACCEPT THE AGENDA AS WRITTEN.

ALL THOSE IN FAVOR OF ADOPTING THE AGENDA AS CURRENTLY WRITTEN.

ANYBODY OPPOSED? THE AGENDA IS ADOPTED.

NEXT ITEM IS THE MINUTES FROM LAST MONTH.

SO SAME SCENARIO.

IF ANYBODY HAS ANY COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, ADDITIONS, SUBTRACTIONS, CLARIFICATIONS, FEEL FREE TO CHIME IN NOW.

OTHERWISE I'LL ENTERTAIN A MOTION TO APPROVE THOSE AS WRITTEN.

I MOTION TO ADOPT THEM AS WRITTEN.

ALL RIGHT. ALL THOSE IN FAVOR OF ADOPTING THE MINUTES AS WRITTEN.

AYE.

OPPOSED. MINUTES ARE APPROVED AS WRITTEN.

THANK YOU AGAIN, [INAUDIBLE].

ALL RIGHT. MOVING ON TO PUBLIC COMMENT AGAIN, THERE'S SOMEBODY ATTENDING THE MEETING.

NOBODY ONLINE.

SO WE WILL MOVE ON TO SHARING ANY COMMENT.

[2. PUBLIC COMMENT ]

PUBLIC COMMENT RECEIVED OVER THE PAST MONTH.

SO WITH THAT, I'LL JUST OPEN IT UP TO WHOMEVER WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK OR NOT.

THE ONLY COMMENT I HAD WAS A QUESTION ABOUT SOMETHING I ASKED ABOUT ABOUT A YEAR AGO, ABOUT THE THEY SAW A PHOTO OF THE CINDER BLOCK GOING UP ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CTE BUILDING, AND, YOU KNOW, IN RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION, THERE'S ALWAYS SOME KIND OF A VAPOR BARRIER, YOU KNOW, BEHIND THAT, AND ALL THEY'RE SEEING IS THE WEATHER RATED PLYWOOD.

THE VAPOR BARRIER IS ACTUALLY PART OF THE [INAUDIBLE].

YOU'VE GOT THE FOAM PANELS AND THAT'S THE THAT'S THE ACTUAL VAPOR BARRIER.

SO THE PLYWOOD IS ACTUALLY OUTBOARD OF THE BARRIER.

OKAY. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? IT IS TREATED PLYWOOD, THOUGH, RIGHT? YEAH. YEAH. IT'S MARINE.

[INAUDIBLE] OKAY. YEAH, BASICALLY, JUST A BACKER FOR THE VENEER.

YEAH, THAT WAS JUST SOMETHING TO SCREW THE CLIPS TO FOR THE BRICK.

OKAY.

ON A SEMI PERSONAL NOTE.

PERSONAL COMMENT NOTE.

I KNOW THE FIRST EVENT ON THE NEW FIELD WAS COMING UP IN THREE WEEKS.

I BELIEVE SO.

I'VE HAD PEOPLE ASK ABOUT WHETHER IT'S READY OR NOT, SO KNOWING THAT'S HAPPENING IN THREE WEEKS ONE WAY OR ANOTHER I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND.

I DON'T KNOW. SOME TYPE OF.

I DON'T KNOW. THERE'S A NEED FOR ANY SORT OF HOOPLA AROUND IT, BUT I'M SURE IT'LL BE A WELL ATTENDED EVENT.

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE FIRST FOOTBALL GAME? I BELIEVE THAT'S THE FIRST EVENT AT THE FIELD [INAUDIBLE] SEPTEMBER.

ACTUALLY, THE FIRST EVENT IS SEPTEMBER 7TH SOCCER GAME.

OKAY. THAT WOULD BE THE FIRST, BUT OBVIOUSLY A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE POINTING TOWARDS A FOOTBALL GAME ON SEPTEMBER 15TH.

[00:05:04]

YEAH. SO YEAH, WE'RE WORKING ON IT ALMOST EVERY DAY.

I MEAN, WHETHER IT'S SCOREBOARD TRAINING.

ON WHAT? LAST FRIDAY, RYAN AND I WORKED ON THAT AND GOT TRAINED ON THE LIGHTS.

TODAY THE LIGHTS ARE UP AND RUNNING.

IT'S GOING THROUGH THE CONCESSION STAND, TRYING TO GET THAT SET UP.

THE BATHROOMS ARE BEING FINISHED UP.

KEN KNOWS A LOT MORE ABOUT IT THAN I DO, PROBABLY, BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE ON TRACK AND A LOT OF THE FENCING IS GOING AROUND AND THE FIELD IS BEING USED RIGHT NOW, SO IT'S AWESOME.

KIDS ARE LOVING IT, AND I THINK WASN'T THERE A THE FOUNDATION OR THERE WAS A GROUP TRYING TO DO A SPAGHETTI OR PASTA FEED? YEAH, THE BOOSTER CLUB IS SPONSORING A PASTA FEEDING.

JOE CAN MAYBE SPEAK TO THAT A LITTLE BIT MORE, BUT IT'LL BE AN EVENT PRIOR TO THE GAME AND IT'LL BE THERE IN THE COMMONS.

WE ALSO NEED TO GET HEALTH DEPARTMENT APPROVAL.

CITY OF BELLINGHAM. CITY OF FERNDALE.

SORRY, AND SO WE SHOULD BE GOOD FOR OCCUPANCY.

SO IS THE STILL SHOOTING TO TRY TO GET PAVEMENT DOWN TO BEFORE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS OR [INAUDIBLE] WE RAN INTO A LITTLE BIT OF A SNAG.

I WAS OUT THERE FIRST THING THIS MORNING.

THE PAVEMENT WAS PRETTY DIRTY.

SO WE STARTED RUNNING BACK AND FORTH WITH A WATER TRUCK AND THAT SEEMED TO WORK PRETTY GOOD.

SO DANNY, TODAY, THE LAST ONE I GOT IS THEY'LL BE BACK OUT IN THE MORNING FOR SEALCOAT STRIPING, SO HOPEFULLY THAT MOVES FORWARD, AND WHAT ABOUT THAT STAFF LOT THOUGH, IN FRONT OF THE STADIUM? IS THAT STILL ON TRACK FOR.

YES. SO WE WERE DOING THE ONE TO THE SOUTH OF THE TENNIS COURT FIRST AND THEY WERE GOING TO MOVE UP TO THAT NORTH LOT.

SO THE PLAN WAS THAT, YES, THAT WOULD ALL BE READY FOR THIS COMING WEDNESDAY, AND SO I'LL HAVE TO GIVE AN UPDATE IN THE MORNING AND WHAT KIND OF PROGRESS THEY'RE MAKING.

I DID. THAT'S NEXT WEDNESDAY.

OKAY. YEAH. SO I DID DID DISCUSS THE IDEA IF WE NEEDED TO FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO COME AND DO THE WORK, BUT RIGHT NOW IT'S WE'RE STICKING WITH THE HORSE RIDING NOW AND SEE WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE MORNING.

SO BUT YEAH, WE DID NOT GET OFF TO A STELLAR START, BUT WITH THE WATER TRUCK, IT MADE A BIG DEAL SO.

WELL, I'M SURE WE'LL COVER IT MORE DOWN THE ROAD HERE.

YOU CAN MOVE ON IF ANYBODY ELSE.

KIND OF FORGOT ABOUT.

HEY, JOE, ARE YOU THERE? OH, YEAH. HEY, I WAS TRYING TO THINK OF SOMEBODY LOCAL THAT MIGHT HAVE ANOTHER WATER TRUCK, BUT THOUGHT MAYBE THE COMPETITORS MIGHT NOT BE SO FRIENDLY ABOUT IT, BUT DOES AMCO HAVE A TRUCK KICKING AROUND IF WE.

IF WE SHOULD NEED IT.

WE MIGHT HAVE ONE IN THE YARD.

I DON'T KNOW. I CAN MAKE A CALL WHILE WE'RE TALKING.

I CAN SHOOT A TEXT TO SOMEBODY.

YEAH, LET ME. LET ME CHECK IN IN THE MORNING AND THEN I'LL GIVE YOU A CALL IF WE NEED IT.

OKAY? YEAH.

JUST CALL ME. CALL ME AND I CAN MESSAGE SOMEBODY AND SEE IF ONE'S AVAILABLE.

MAYBE IT'S SOMEBODY FROM THE SHOP CAN RUN OVER AND WORK WITH YOU GUYS TO SPRAY IT OFF.

SPRAY IT OFF. GREAT.

THANK YOU. ALL RIGHT.

ANYTHING ELSE ON PUBLIC COMMENT? ALL RIGHT. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION.

[3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS]

IT'S UPDATED DASHBOARDS.

I KNOW THEY GET [INAUDIBLE] IN HERE.

[INAUDIBLE] NOT INCLUDE THEM? THAT'S OKAY. I ASSUME THEY'RE UPDATED.

I KNOW WE'RE GETTING CLOSE.

I TOOK YESTERDAY OFF.

THEY ARE UPDATED.

I TOOK YESTERDAY OFF.

SO I WAS DOING IT SUNDAY NIGHT AND I THOUGHT I WAS A FEW PAGES SHORT.

THAT'S ALL RIGHT. I THINK I REMEMBER SEEING THE EMAIL COME THROUGH WITH IT.

YEAH, I KNOW THEY'RE ON THE OTHER SIDE.

IT'S ON YOUR SHAREPOINT SITE.

YEAH.

NOPE I'M LOOKING AT IT.

THEY'RE UPDATED, SO.

[00:10:02]

I GUESS THE ONLY THING WOULD BE UPDATING THE CRITICAL PROJECTS.

[INAUDIBLE] IF WE ARE, IN FACT, YOU KNOW.

COMPLETE WITH SOME OF THOSE.

IT SHOULD BE ACCURATE.

[INAUDIBLE] I CHECKED WITH JAMIE WITH THE CONTROLS.

YEAH. OKAY.

SO CONTROLS ARE STILL STEADY AS SHE GOES.

OKAY, AND THEN JAMIE HAS BEEN MAKING PROGRESS ON THE WATER TANK, SO IT SEEMED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO FINISH ON TIME WITH THAT.

SO WE SHOULD BE STILL ON TRACK.

ARE THE HVAC CONTROLS DONE IN THE DISTRICT OFFICE? YES. OKAY.

WELL, THEY NEED TO BE UPDATED ON THIS SCHEDULE.

I THINK IT'S STILL A MATTER OF CHANGING THE [INAUDIBLE] BOXES.

OH, GOTCHA.

IF SOMEBODY CARES ONLINE, [INAUDIBLE] SOCIAL MEDIA CONVERSATIONS.

IN MY MIND, I'VE BEEN KIND OF THINKING OF THOSE AS ALL ONE BIG PROJECTS.

SO IT HASN'T EVEN OCCURRED TO ME TO CHECK THOSE ONES OFF, BUT.

GOOD FOR.

ALL RIGHT. ANY OTHER PUBLIC COMMUNICATION? STUFF.

ALL RIGHT. FOLLOW UP ITEMS FROM LAST MONTH.

I KNOW IT DIDN'T GET PUT ON HERE, BUT I KNOW THERE WAS A TAMMY, I'M SORRY I SENT YOU THAT EMAIL AND THEN I FORGOT TO FOLLOW UP, BUT DID THAT ART POWERPOINT? YEAH, IT WAS ACTUALLY A PDF, SO I DID LOAD IT TO THE SHAREPOINT LIKE YOU GUYS ASKED.

OKAY. YEAH. SO THAT WAS KIND OF ON YOUR RADAR.

SO I DON'T KNOW IF YOU HAD A CHANCE TO LOOK AT IT OR HAD ANY QUESTIONS.

I DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE YET.

I'VE GOT TO GO LOOK AT IT HERE AS SOON AS WE'RE DONE THOUGH, OKAY, AND I CAN PUT IT ON THE SCREEN AND SHARE IT WITH YOU ALL IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT.

DID YOU ALL LOOK AT IT? I DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO LOOK AT IT.

I LOOKED AT IT. WHAT'S THAT? I LOOKED AT IT. IT LOOKED NEUTRAL, WHICH IS FINE WITH ME IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE.

YEAH THEY LOOK GOOD.

PERFECT. I DON'T THINK WE NEED TO, I THINK THE ART FOLKS ARE HAVING PLENTY OF TIME SPENT LOOKING AT ART.

YOU DON'T NEED TO LOOK AT ART AS WELL.

BUILDING ITSELF IS AN ART TO YOU THAT WOULD FALL MORE UNDER MY PREFERENCE.

[INAUDIBLE] YES, THAT'S TRUE.

ALL RIGHT. ANYTHING ELSE FROM ANYONE REGARDING LAST MEETING OR ANY FOLLOW UP ITEMS. THAT AREN'T LISTED HERE.

OKAY.

CAN MOVE ON TO NEW BUSINESS AND JUST GOING OVER THE SPENDING OR YEAH, SPENDING REPORT.

[4. NEW BUSINESS]

SO EXPENDITURES AS OF 7/31 $104,771,819.

FROM THERE, YOU'LL SEE THE CASH FLOW CHART, WHICH IS STILL TRENDING.

PRETTY CLOSE TO THE LINE, JUST A LITTLE BIT BELOW, AND ON THE CMR REPORT RIGHT NOW, WE'RE SITTING AT 820,000. SO 3,820,461, BUT IF YOU RECALL, COMING BACK TO IT WAS ACTUALLY A $5 MILLION. SO THAT STILL PUT US $1.1 MILLION LEFT [INAUDIBLE].

[00:15:03]

ONE THING I WILL KIND OF NOTE ON THIS CMR THAT I'VE BEEN WORKING WITH CORNERSTONE ON IS SEPARATING OUT THE PACK ITEMS FROM THE OTHER BUCKETS, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN A VERY SIMPLE TASK WHEN BEHIND THIS SPREADSHEET IS [INAUDIBLE], WHICH IS A COMPUTER PROGRAM WHICH IT'S FAIRLY DIFFICULT TO SEPARATE THINGS OUT.

SO THERE'S SOME MANUAL CALCULATIONS THAT HAVE TO HAPPEN THERE, BUT SLOWLY BUT SURELY WE'RE GETTING TOWARDS KEEPING ALL THE PACK ITEMS COMPLETELY SEPARATE AND MARCUS FROM CORNERSTONE HAS GONE ON VACATION RIGHT NOW, BUT I THINK WE'RE DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO BEING CURRENT ON THIS.

CAN A LOT OF THE THINGS THAT SO YOU TAKE YOU'RE TAKING THINGS OUT AND LIKE I THINK I SKIMMED IT THE OTHER DAY AND I DIDN'T SEE THE SOUND SYSTEM ON THERE.

I HAVE TO REMOVE THOSE BECAUSE THEY WERE GROSSLY INACCURATE, AND SO NOW THAT WE'VE KIND OF PULLED THEM OUT OF THEIR PROCESS, I WANTED TO JUST PULL THEM OUT ALTOGETHER BECAUSE THEY WERE ARTIFICIALLY PUFFING UP ALL THE NUMBERS TO KIND OF PRESENT A WRONG PICTURE, IF YOU WILL.

SO JUST WITH THAT LIGHTING SYSTEM ALONE, THEY WERE LIKE 8 TO 900,000, AND, YOU KNOW, PRETTY SOON WE'RE AT 1.2, 1.3 MILLION, AND SO I JUST SAID, WELL, WE'RE PULLING THOSE OUT OF YOUR SCOPE.

LET'S PULL THEM OUT OF THE CMR. SO WE ACCURATELY REFLECT WHAT WE'RE ACTUALLY DOING RIGHT NOW, AND THEN TODAY I DID FINALLY RECEIVE THE BIG PACKAGES AND THE DOCUMENTS TO GO OUT TO BID ON THE BALANCE OF THOSE ITEMS. SO WE'RE GOING OUT ON THE AUDIO VIDEO, THE DRAPES, THE LIGHTS.

ADDITIONAL REVIEW AND THAT KIND OF WENT ALONG WITH THE DRAPES.

SO. TOMORROW, HEIDI AND I ARE GOING TO GO IN AND DO ANOTHER BUDGET UPDATE AND TO SEE WHERE WE'RE AT WE'VE HAD A LOT OF CORRECTIONS MADE BY THE CITY RECENTLY.

THEY'VE LAST MINUTE.

THEY'VE WANTED A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT CHANGES AND SO IT'S BEEN A BIT OF A CHALLENGE NAVIGATING THROUGH THOSE.

SO EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING WAS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS, THEY DIDN'T MARK THEM UP AND KIND OF LET US KNOW WHEN WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF ACTUALLY DOING THE WORK.

[INAUDIBLE] YEAH, SO THERE WAS SOME STORMWATER REVISIONS THAT NEEDED TO BE MADE IN GOLDEN EAGLE DRIVE RIGHT ON THE CORNER WHERE IT TURNS [INAUDIBLE], AND THEN FOR WHATEVER REASON, IN THE PAST THERE WAS NEVER A CROSS CONNECT ON THE FIRE OR THE FIRE LINE FOR THE PACK.

SO WE'VE HAD TO WE'RE GOING TO BE INSTALLING BACKFLOW PREVENTERS AND THE DOG HOUSE AND DOG HOUSE.

SO AND THEN THERE WASN'T A SEPARATE METER ON THE PACK.

SO THERE'S BEEN A BUNCH OF THINGS THAT THE CITY IS NOW WANTING US TO ADD AND CHANGE KIND OF LAST MINUTE ANYWAY.

SO, SO TOMORROW WE'RE GOING TO BE GOING INTO DOING A BUDGET REVIEW TO KIND OF SEE WHERE WE'RE AT, AND THEN HOPEFULLY BY NEXT WEEK WE CAN GET OUT TO ADVERTISEMENT TO GO OUT TO BID.

I'VE KIND OF TALKED IT THROUGH WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE.

ON HAVING THE STAGE LIGHTING GUYS BE THE PRIMARY CONTRACTOR AND THEN HAVE HIRED THEIR OWN ELECTRICIAN TO DO THE WORK THAT WAS NEEDED.

SO PUMPED UP, AND LIKEWISE WITH AUDIO VIDEO, IT SEEMED LIKE EVERYBODY'S PLAYING BALL.

THERE IS NO [INAUDIBLE].

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A SIMPLE SOLUTION, BUT LIKE DIMENSIONAL IF IT WERE AN INTERCOM SYSTEM, THEY ARE AUTHORIZED [INAUDIBLE] TO DO INTERCOMS AND WHATNOT, BUT THE AUDIO VIDEO, THEY ARE NOT LISTED AS A [INAUDIBLE] PERSON.

SO AND THEN AND THEN LIKEWISE THE STATE OF WASHINGTON THROUGH [INAUDIBLE] HAS NOBODY WHO DOES STAGE RIGGING AND LIGHTING, SO BOTH WILLING TO GO OUT TO COMPETITIVE BID. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE'S VERY FEW PEOPLE THAT CAN ACTUALLY BID THIS WORK.

SO IF I EVEN GOT MORE THAN ONE NUMBER FROM STAGECRAFT, I'D BE SURPRISED, BUT TO FOLLOW THE STATE RULES, I HAVE TO GO OUT TO COMPETITIVE BID, ADVERTISE IT TO MAKE SURE WE COMPLY WITH THE STATE MANDATE, AND THEN ON THE AUDIO VIDEO, THERE'S PROBABLY MORE PEOPLE THAT CAN BID THAT.

SO, BUT THE CONCEPT IT SEEMS OF HAVING THEM SUPPLY THEIR OWN ELECTRICIAN TO DO THAT SUPPORT WORK IS VALID AND IS

[00:20:05]

NORMAL. SO, SO THAT'S KIND OF THE PLAN RIGHT NOW.

SO WE'LL, WE'LL CHECK BEFORE WE GO OUT TO BID AND MAKE SURE WE'RE SOLID FINANCIALLY AND THEN GET OUT TO BID.

SO BY THE TIME WE GO TO SIGN A CONTRACT, WE KNOW THAT FINANCIALLY WE CAN AFFORD IT AND WE CAN SIGN THOSE CONTRACTS.

SO [INAUDIBLE] TO DO THAT WORK OVER WINTER BREAK OR IS THAT I GUESS THAT'S AT THE STAGE SO YOU CAN PROBABLY DO THAT WHILE SCHOOL'S IN SESSION BECAUSE THAT'S NOT USED AS A YEAH BUT THE LEAD TIMES THAT WAS THE ONE ISSUE WITH IT TAKING SO LONG TO GET EVERYBODY TO THE TABLE ON DESIGN AND COSTING WAS THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF LEAD TIME ITEMS SO EVEN WITH DRAPES SO WE SINCE THE DRAPES WERE THEY WERE OVER A LITTLE BIT, BUT CLOSE, YOU KNOW, WE HAD TALKED ABOUT DOING THE DRAPES THROUGH OUR EXISTING CONTRACTORS, BUT THE LEAD TIMES WERE SUCH THAT IT WAS GOING TO PUSH OUT TO WHERE THEN IF WE CAN PACKAGE THE DRAPES AND THE LIGHTS AND EVERYTHING TOGETHER, THAT THERE WOULD BE A PACKAGE DEAL AND PROBABLY GET BETTER PRICING.

SO WE MADE THE DECISION TO TRY AND GO FOR BETTER PRICING AND LESS MARKUPS ON THE DRAPES.

SO BECAUSE THOSE GOT JACKED UP 23 GRAND JUST FROM MARKUPS, YOU KNOW, SO IT'S A DOUBLE MARKUP.

WHERE IS THE BIG PACKAGE GOING TO BE POSTED? I USUALLY JUST ADVERTISE IN THE BELLINGHAM HERALD, AND THEN THERE'S THE LOCAL [INAUDIBLE] CENTER IN BELLINGHAM.

YES. WCR SO [INAUDIBLE] VILLAGE CHANGE.

YEAH, I NORMALLY JUST GO FOR WCR, SO WE'RE TRYING TO KEEP IT FAIRLY, BUT WHAT HAPPENS THESE DAYS AND [INAUDIBLE] CAN TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT, IS IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS THESE TROLLS ONLINE THAT ARE ELECTRONIC CLAN CENTERS AND THEY'RE HARVESTING THE DATA AND SOMEHOW MAKING MONEY OFF OF IT BECAUSE OF PUBLIC DISCLOSURE AND DISCLOSURE RULES.

WE GET INUNDATED, INUNDATED WITH IT'S TERRIBLE.

SO SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE AND I MEAN HARASS TO THE NTH DEGREE.

I MEAN, I WAS EVEN IN BUDAPEST GETTING HARASSED BY THESE GUYS, SO YEAH, IT WAS GREAT.

SO CAN YOU HAVE TAMMY JUST UPLOAD THAT TO THE SHAREPOINT SITE, THE, THE DESIGN AND THE.

YEAH, YEAH, ABSOLUTELY.

IT'LL BE ON OUR WEBSITE UNDER THE BUSINESS SECTION OUR RFPS.

OKAY. YEAH. SO IT GETS POSTED ON THE WEBSITE.

OKAY, BUT YEAH, I CAN UPLOAD IT TO THE.

FUN, FUN. SO BASICALLY, EVERYTHING IN THE AUDITORIUM ITSELF IS BASICALLY ON HOLD UNTIL THIS IS INCLUDING THE DRAPES, CORRECT? CORRECT.

SO LOOKING AT THE 1.2 MILLION AND IF WE HAD TO GO WITHOUT, WE PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE.

SO COULD YOU SO WE'LL HAVE OUR OWN BUDGET LINE ITEMS. FOR EACH EACH ELEMENT.

CAN YOU POST THAT TOO I MEAN, CAN WE HAVE OUR OWN CMR REPORT FOR THE BACK THEN? IT WON'T BE ON THIS IS THAT'S CORNERSTONE SUPPORT.

WELL I KNOW BUT WHAT I'M SAYING IS CAN WE HAVE OUR OWN OR FOR HOW ARE YOU MANAGING THESE COSTS OR DO YOU HAVE YOUR OWN SPREADSHEET? I DO A LOT.

SO FOR A SOUND SYSTEM, I WAS CARRYING A FEW HUNDRED THOUSAND FOR STAGE LIGHTING AND DISTRIBUTION AND ELECTRICAL CARRYING 300, AND FOR STAGE DRAPERIES, 150.

SO A TOTAL OF 650,000 AND THEN 300,000 INCLUDES FIXTURES.

NO.

OKAY. SO.

SO WHERE WERE YOU? WHAT WERE WE DOING? WHAT WERE WE GOING TO DO WITH THAT? WHAT'S THE BASE? IT'S THE BASE PACKAGE THAT WE HAD TALKED ABOUT.

YEAH. WHERE? [INAUDIBLE] FROM THE PANELS TO THE STAGE AND THEN ALL OF THE STAGE EQUIPMENT TO UPGRADE IT TO WHERE NOW IT'S FULLY FUNCTIONAL FOR LEDS. SO THEN THOSE FIXTURES CAN BE ADDED.

SO THE BULK OF THE COST AND THE BIG PROCESS IS REALLY DOING WHAT WE'RE TRYING TO DO IS GET ALL THAT NEW EQUIPMENT UP THERE AND THE DIMMER PANELS AND ALL THAT GOOD STUFF.

SO OKAY, GREAT, AND ON THE CITY CHANGES THAT [INAUDIBLE] EXPENSIVE OR DO THEY EVEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO COME IN AND DO THAT BECAUSE THEY APPROVED THE PLANS EARLIER?

[00:25:05]

JUST. A LITTLE BIT OF A POLITICAL QUESTION.

THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.

IT'S REALLY FRUSTRATING, AND YES, OF COURSE, THERE ARE AUTHORIZED TO DO THAT, BUT IT'S FRUSTRATING.

THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK IS YOU SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS TO THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION AND THEY DO A PLAN REVIEW, AND IF THEY WANT THINGS THAT ARE DIFFERENT THAN ON THE PLANS, THEY MARK IT UP AND THEY SEND IT BACK TO YOU.

INVARIABLY, THOUGH, WHAT HAPPENS IS THEY DON'T MARK UP ANYTHING UNTIL YOU'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO DO THE WORK, AND THEN YOU SHOW UP AND GO, HEY, STOP, WAIT A MINUTE.

YOU WANT THEM TO SUFFER AND THEY'RE SHOWING COMPLIANCE.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO REPEAT THAT, BUT IT'S BEEN THAT WAY MY ENTIRE CAREER.

IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING.

THE CHANGES THAT THEY'VE ASKED FOR, EACH PROBABLY BEEN IN THE 20 TO $30,000 RANGE, SO PROBABLY 60 TO 100,000, ALL SAID AND DONE.

I DON'T KNOW. GOT ONE THAT WE'RE TRACKING SO FAR AND THE OTHER TWO HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE CMR YET HENCE ANOTHER REASON THAT I WANTED TO GO WITH HEIDI TOMORROW TO KIND OF LOOK AT THAT AND BUT YEAH, IT'S IT'S IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING.

SO I FEEL LIKE I REMEMBER US TALKING ABOUT THIS A NUMBER OF YEARS AGO WHEN WE WERE IN MAGNITUDE ABOUT I THINK HEIDI SAID, OKAY, LIKE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE CITY HAD EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED THAT THEY WANTED.

THAT'S ALWAYS THE [INAUDIBLE]. YEAH BECAUSE WE DIDN'T WANT THE BUDGET WASN'T GOING TO ALLOW FOR UNEXPECTED SURPRISES. WELL, IF YOU GUYS COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO CHANGE THAT, I'D LOVE TO BE HERE.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU, BRIAN.

THIS IS A REALITY OF EVERY JOB I'VE EVER DONE, AND THE CITY'S ALWAYS COMING AT THE END AND HAVE AN 11TH HOUR REQUEST.

I DID ONE JOB.

IT WAS $800,000 WORTH OF WORK.

SO WHEN OUR CLIENT HAD PAID IT, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ANOTHER PERSON'S RESPONSIBILITY, BUT THEY GOT THEIR OCCUPANCY AND NO CHOICE WHICH WAS REALLY BAD BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY SAT DOWN WITH THE CITY AND DISCUSSED THAT VERY ISSUE AND HAD A COMMITMENT FROM THEM.

THEY WANT TO DO THAT, BUT THEY DID.

SO YEAH, THAT'S A BIG BONE OF CONTENTION IN THE INDUSTRY, SO OKAY.

I WAS CURIOUS IF THEY SIGNED THEIR NAME TO IT AND IT'S BASICALLY A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT THAT THEY AGREED TO, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.

THEY PUT A BIG RED STAMP ON IT.

[INAUDIBLE] THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OR IT'S ON THE PERMIT THAT THEY RETAIN THE RIGHT TO BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

YEAH, IT'S I COULD GO ON FOR ABOUT THREE HOURS ON THIS SUBJECT, HOW FRUSTRATING IT IS, BUT, I MEAN, IT'S AN ELECTION YEAR, RIGHT? IT'S A BIG CAMPAIGN.

YOUR MAYOR IS NOT ALLOWING US TO GET THE PACK REFITTED BECAUSE OF THE ADDITIONAL EXPENSES THAT WERE CREATED BECAUSE THE CITY.

[INAUDIBLE] I DON'T KNOW IF THAT'S GOING TO CURE [INAUDIBLE] CAN CURE IT.

NO, [INAUDIBLE] BEAT A DEAD HORSE HERE.

YOU'RE BEATING A DEAD HORSE HERE.

IT'S INSIDE THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PROJECT.

I DO THINK, THOUGH, THAT CONSTRUCTION SERVICES GROUP DID A GOOD JOB OF TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY EVERYTHING WAS.

THEY WERE GOING TO ASK [INAUDIBLE] I DO REMEMBER THEM ASKING FOR THAT.

FOR WHAT? THEY ASKED FOR.

OKAY, IS THIS EVERYTHING YOU'RE GOING TO REQUIRE, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR MORE? AND I'M SURE THEY SAID YES, AND I'M SURE THEY BELIEVED IT.

YEAH, JUST BE HAPPY WITH ENOUGH TO COMPLETELY REDO MALLOY AND COMPLETELY REDO [INAUDIBLE] ALL THE WAY TO WASHINGTON.

[00:30:03]

READY FOR REPORTS.

[INAUDIBLE] SO THE BIG DROP JUST TO CLARIFY.

THE BIG DROP FROM LAST MONTH OR I SHOULDN'T SAY DROP.

THE PAC BUDGET ON THE CMR REPORT WENT FROM ESSENTIALLY 1.7 IN THE RED TO 943 AND THAT IS ESSENTIALLY BECAUSE YOU PULLED OUT THAT.

OKAY. CORRECT. THAT PIECE, AND YOU SAID YOU PULLED OUT.

WHATEVER THAT WAS.

700 SOMETHING.

[INAUDIBLE]. NO, IT WAS [INAUDIBLE] SOMEWHERE IN THERE.

1.2, BUT THEN WE'VE ALSO ADDED ADDED THINGS.

SO WE TOOK SOME OUT [INAUDIBLE] JUST RECENTLY BEEN PROCESSED.

OKAY, AND THEN YOU'RE HOLDING YOU SAID 650.

ROUGHLY CORRECT.

IF IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE NEXT MONTH AFTER YOU AND HEIDI GET TOGETHER AND DRILL DOWN ON THE BUDGET AND THEN PUT THIS THING OUT FOR BID.

IT'D BE GOOD TO DO A IF HEIDI HAS THE ABILITY TO ZOOM IN NEXT MONTH.

KEN OR IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE GOING DOWN THE.

YEAH WE CAN WE CAN THINK IT'D BE TIMELY TO HAVE HEIDI JUST TO KIND OF LIKE REASSESS WHERE WE'RE AT [INAUDIBLE] YOU KNOW, I FEEL LIKE WE'RE ON LIKE THE LAST TWO MILES OF THE MARATHON HERE.

SO, YEAH, WE CAN DO THAT.

I THINK THAT MIGHT BE A [INAUDIBLE].

OKAY. SO JUMPING INTO THE HIGH SCHOOL REPORT MAIN BUILDING.

WE'RE AT ABOUT 89% OF THE PUNCH LIST.

THAT'S A LITTLE BIT ARTIFICIALLY LOW BECAUSE THE ARCHITECT'S BEEN GONE ON VACATION.

HE'LL BE BACK NEXT WEEK, TOO.

I THINK HE'S BACK THURSDAY OR FRIDAY THIS WEEK AND THEN GET THAT A LITTLE BIT HIGHER COMMISSIONING, ABOUT 87% COMPLETE, AND [INAUDIBLE] THIS WEEK. THAT KIND OF PUSH DOWN FOR NEXT WEEK.

CTE WING, THE ROOFING IS NOW ON COMPLETE SIDING IS PRIMARILY WRAPPED UP.

THE WINDOWS ARE WRAPPED UP.

MASONRY IS REAL CLOSE TO BEING SEALED.

I'M ALL DONE.

PERFECT. WOW.

THAT'D BE A RECORD. YOU GOT TO START FROM THE BEGINNING NOW.

[CHUCKLING] YOU GUYS WANT TO DO ROLL CALL? LET'S START ALL OVER. ALL RIGHT.

SO THE SOUTH HALF OF THE WING NOW PRETTY MUCH WRAPPED UP FOR [INAUDIBLE], AND WE'RE HANGING SHEET ROCK.

THE NORTH HALF, THEY'RE STILL WORKING ON THE ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL [INAUDIBLE] AND THEY SHOULD GET STARTED ON THE SHEET ROCK FIRST COUPLE OF WEEKS OF SEPTEMBER.

THE MECHANICAL MEZZANINE IS NOW PREPARED TO HAVE FINAL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, ALLOWING THE EQUIPMENT TO BE STARTED.

FOOTBALL FIELD FINAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT INSPECTIONS OCCURRED LAST WEEK IN THE GRANDSTANDS AND VILLAGE BUILDING.

ONLY A COUPLE OF SMALL CORRECTIONS WERE NEEDED AND THE AREAS ARE READY TO BE OCCUPIED AND USED.

A RUBBERIZED SURFACING ON THE TRACK HAS NOW BEEN COMPLETED.

WITH ANY LUCK, BY THE TIME THIS MEETING OCCURRED, FINAL STRIPING WILL ALSO BE FINISHED, WHICH IT IS NOT, BUT WHAT WAS THE UPDATE TODAY? OVER THE WEEKEND, SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

YEAH. SO APPARENTLY IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN THIS WEEKEND.

SO THAT TOOK A LOT OF REQUESTING TO GET THAT DONE SO TO PUT IT NICELY SO WEIGHT ROOM THE EXTERIOR WALLS ON THIS BUILDING ARE NOW BEING PAINTED TO MATCH THE NEW BUILDING SITE WORK ALL AREAS RECEIVING ASPHALT HAVE EITHER BEEN COMPLETED OR WILL BE COMPLETE THIS WEEK.

BOTH THE [INAUDIBLE] LOT AND THE LOT [INAUDIBLE] THE TENNIS COURT WILL HAVE CRACK REPAIR RESEALED AND STRIPING COMPLETED BY THE END OF THE WEEK, WHICH WAS THE BIG PLAN, BUT WE WILL SEE NOW AFTER JUST SO YOU KNOW, WHEN [INAUDIBLE] SHOWED UP TO THEY WERE KIND OF REJECTING THE CONDITION OF THE PARKING LOT, AND SO ONE WAS THAT IT WASN'T CLEAN ENOUGH, BUT TO WHICH WAS FUNNY BECAUSE I DIDN'T ASK THEM THAT A MONTH AGO , AND THEY EVERYBODY SAID IT WAS GOOD, BUT SO IT WAS HOW CLEAN THE LOT WAS, BUT THEN HOW CRACKED IT WAS SIMILAR TO WHAT YOU EXPERIENCED AT

[00:35:09]

VISTA. SO I WILL FIND OUT TOMORROW MORNING WHAT THE CONDITION OF THAT IS.

SO WHO'S DOING THE CRACK REPAIR? [INAUDIBLE]. OKAY, SO THERE'S THE CRACK REPAIR AND THEN THE RESEAL AND NEW STRIPING.

SO THAT WAS KIND OF A LAST MINUTE ADD.

YEAH. SO IT WAS IN CONTRACT TO DO THE LOT OUT BY THE FOOTBALL FIELD.

IT WASN'T THAT LOT HAD NOTHING TO SHOW.

SO THAT WAS [INAUDIBLE].

WONDER HOW THAT HAPPENED. SO ON THE PLANS, IT SAYS FILL OR PATCH EXISTING PAVEMENT CRACKS PRIOR TO SEAL COATING OR CRACKS LESS THAN ONE INCH IN WIDTH FILL CRACK WITH HOT POURED SEALANT FOR CRACKS GREATER THAN ONE INCH IN WIDTH FILL AND SAND SLURRY PRIOR TO SEAL COATING [INAUDIBLE] IS THAT ALL HAPPENING? IT IS OKAY BECAUSE THE CHANGE ORDER DIDN'T MENTION ANY OF THAT.

IT JUST BASICALLY SAID THE BLACKOUT.

THAT'S WHY I FOLLOWED UP WITH THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT THEY WERE ALL INCLUDED, JUST TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE CLEANING OUT ALL THE CRACKS, FILL IN THE CRACKS AND ALL THAT.

THAT'S WHAT I CHECKED ON A MONTH AGO.

SO IT WAS KIND OF SURPRISING TO GET A CALL THIS MORNING AND SAYING THERE WAS SOME DISAGREEMENT ON WHAT THEY WERE DOING OR NOT DOING.

SO, YEAH BECAUSE WHEN I DROVE BY, I JUST GLANCED AT THE PARKING LOT, BUT IT STILL LOOKED LIKE THERE'S GRASS OUT THERE.

SO MAYBE THEY'RE NOT DONE YET.

THEY'RE NOT DONE. OKAY.

SO THEY HAVEN'T EVEN REALLY STARTED.

THEY STARTED YESTERDAY.

THEY GOT THERE FAIRLY LATE AND WORKED UNTIL LIKE 7:00, AND THEN APPARENTLY THIS MORNING THEY DECIDED TO TELL CORNERSTONE WAS TOO DIRTY AND THEY WERE PULLING OFF THE JOB.

SO BY THE TIME I GOT THERE THIS MORNING, THEY WERE NOT THERE [INAUDIBLE] WAS THERE AND CORNERSTONE WAS THERE.

OKAY, GREAT. SO FINE, FINE.

SO THEN ON THE SEISMIC WORK IS NOW PRIMARILY COMPLETE.

IN FACT, THE CARPET IS JUST ABOUT WRAPPED UP AND PAINTING HAS BEEN IN PROGRESS AND JUST ABOUT COMPLETE.

WEEK AND A HALF, TWO WEEKS AGO, I WONDERED IF THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE IT.

THIS LAST WEEK IT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE, AND THERE'S THE PICTURES THAT GO ALONG WITH IT.

THE [INAUDIBLE] IS NOT DONE AS FAR AS THE CARPET I HEARD.

WELL, ONE IS, BUT ONE WASN'T.

I HAVEN'T LOOKED THIS WEEK, BUT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE [INAUDIBLE].

SO ALL THE CONCRETE IS GOING TO BE POURED ON THE WHOLE SITE BEFORE NEXT WEDNESDAY.

I DON'T KNOW IF ALL WILL BE DONE, BUT IT WILL BE READY TO OPEN SCHOOL.

OKAY. SO THERE MAY BE SOME TEMPORARY FENCING TO KEEP THAT.

DEFINITELY, BECAUSE AROUND THE PAC AND THAT'S ACTUALLY SOMETHING WE'VE BEEN WORKING ON AND IT WAS BEING SENT OUT BY THE HIGH SCHOOL SHOWING THE SITE WORK WHERE THE FENCING WILL BE.

SO LIKE AROUND THE PAC, THEY'RE STILL GOING TO BE FENCING.

SO AND THEN THEY ALL ENTER THE PACK FROM THE SOUTH, BUT THEN THE SLOT IN BETWEEN CTE AND THE PACK WILL REMAIN CLOSED.

SO THEY'LL HAVE TO COME AROUND FROM THE NEW PARKING LOT FROM THE SOUTH INTO THE PACK, BUT OF COURSE, AREA BETWEEN THE TWO, THE CTE WON'T BE FINISHED.

SO THOSE ARE GOING TO KEEP CORDONED OFF WITH FENCING.

SO THAT MAKES SENSE, BUT THE NORTH LOT BY THE BUS GARAGE IS GOING TO BE DONE AND THE BUS LOOP IS GOING TO BE ALL OPEN.

THAT'S I'VE ASKED THE QUESTION FIVE TIMES AND EACH TIME THEY SAY, YES, IT'S GOING TO BE READY.

SO, ALL RIGHT, IT MAY NOT BE STRIPED.

OKAY, BUT THAT'S STAFF PARKING.

I MEAN, ERIC MENTIONED WE'RE GAINING 200 PARKING SPACES.

IT SEEMS LIKE THEY COULD ALMOST JUST KEEP EVERYBODY ON THE SOUTH PARKING LOTS.

UNTIL IT'S ALL READY TO GO.

YEAH. THE STAFF HAS BEEN TOLD THEY COULD.

THEY COULD PARK OVER THERE IF NEEDED.

WHAT WE DON'T WANT IS KIDS IN THE NORTH.

YEAH, KIDS AWAY FROM THE CARS.

WHEREAS THE CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT YARD IS OR WAS THE PREP THAT THEY DO NOT NEED THAT ANYMORE.

THEN OUTSIDE THE CTE BUILDING ONCE.

IT'S GOING TO USE [INAUDIBLE] USED TO BE FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION.

WELL, THEY'RE STILL THERE IN THAT ONE CORNER.

YEAH, THEY'RE STILL OUT BY CTE [INAUDIBLE] AND THE WHOLE AREA BETWEEN TWO.

[00:40:03]

CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME? YES.

WHAT? SO JAMIE SAID, [INAUDIBLE] STRIPED.

WHAT? WHAT WILL BE STRIPED? SUPPOSEDLY EVERYTHING ELSE BUT THE NORTH LOT MUST THAT WAS BEFORE WHAT KEN'S JUST TALKING ABOUT, BUT AS OF PRIOR TO THAT, EVERYTHING ELSE SHOULD BE STRIPED BY [INAUDIBLE] BUS TURNAROUND LOOP.

ALL OF THAT. THAT'S WHAT WE UNDERSTOOD.

YES. WE'RE USING THAT ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

YEAH, AND THEN THAT LEADS INTO MY NEXT QUESTION.

IS THAT THE PLAN TO.

HAVE ALL THE KIDS COME THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE? YES. THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING.

YEAH THAT SHOULD BE OPEN, AND SO STAFF AND STUDENTS WILL BE PARKING IN THAT ONE, THAT ONE PARKING LOT OR A LITTLE BIT IN THE OLD SENIOR LOT IN THE NORTH LOT.

YEAH WE DO HAVE SOME CONTRACTOR PARKING THERE ENSURES BUT I'M JUST TRYING TO ENVISION HOW THE NORTH LOT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ESTABLISHED.

THE NORTH LOT IS SUPPOSED TO BE STAFF PARKING.

NON-STUDENT PARKING, AND THAT'S WHY WE WEREN'T IF ANYTHING WAS GOING TO FALL BEHIND, WE WANTED IT TO BE THE NORTH LOT.

WE WANTED EVERYTHING ELSE TO BE DONE AND STRIPED.

SO WE'RE GOING TO RETURN THAT PART OF THE NORTH LOT RATHER THAN THE SENIOR LOT.

YEAH, BECAUSE IT'S NOT GOING TO BE THE SOUTH LOT.

YEAH, AND HOW I GUESS I'M TRYING TO ENVISION HOW THE CONTRACT IS GOING TO BE ABLE TO KEEP WORKING ON THE CTE.

IS HE GOING TO CORDON OFF LIKE A SECTION THROUGH THE BUS LOOP OR JUST KEEP FENCING AROUND THE BUILDING? WHAT DOES THAT KIND OF LOOK LIKE? I MEAN, KIDS ARE HORRIBLE ABOUT STAYING IN LINES.

YEAH, THERE'S FENCING ON THE NORTH SIDE.

YEAH IT DOESN'T GO INTO THE BUS LOOP.

IS THAT THE QUESTION? YEAH NO, I MEAN, I WAS JUST TRYING TO ENVISION IN MY HEAD, I JUST.

I WORRY ABOUT THE SAFETY.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW HOW KIDS ARE.

THEY SUCK. THEY SUCK AT BEING [INAUDIBLE].

[INAUDIBLE]. SO ALL THE LANDSCAPING AROUND THE SOUTH LOTS IS GOING TO PROBABLY BE HAPPENING ON OFF HOURS.

[INAUDIBLE] GOING TO BE DONE. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE DONE.

MOST OF THE PLANTINGS WE WON'T DO UNTIL IN THE FALL.

OTHERWISE THEY ALL DIE.

OH, OKAY. SO THE PLAN HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO WAIT EVERY TIME THE PEOPLE LEAVE ON US TO PLANT THEM BEFORE WE GET TOO FAR AND THEY ALL DIE AND THEN YOU HAVE TO RETHINK EVERYTHING.

SO WE'RE GOING TO DO IT IN THE FALL.

SO THEY WILL, WHICH IS COMMON.

THEY'LL BE WORKING AMONGST STUDENTS AND STAFF.

WELL, THE CAMPUS IS A CLOSED CAMPUS ANYWAY, ISN'T IT? ACTUALLY, DON'T KNOW THAT QUESTION.

ERIC MIGHT KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT.

WHAT WAS THAT AGAIN? THE CAMPUS IS CLOSED.

THAT WAS THE PURPOSE.

LET ME JUST SAY THAT WAS THE ORIGINAL PURPOSE.

YEAH. I MEAN, YOU CAN'T ACCESS THE CAMPUS RIGHT NOW COMING THROUGH THE SOUTH LOT.

WHEN EVERYTHING IS DONE, IT CAN BE A CLOSED CAMPUS.

OKAY. I'M WITH YOU NOW. YEAH.

SO WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO OPERATE THAT WAY THIS YEAR.

OKAY. SO, YOU KNOW, THE DESIGN INTENT AND THE SETUP ALLOWS FOR A COMPLETE CLOSED CAMPUS IF THAT'S WHAT'S DESIRED BY THE STAFF.

SO THAT'S WHY WE HAVE THE FENCING ACROSS THAT FRONT COURTYARD, AND THAT WILL EXTEND ALL THE WAY DOWN PAST THE CTE OVER TO THE [INAUDIBLE] TO CREATE A SECURE VESTIBULE WHERE THERE'S FENCING, THERE'S GOING TO BE THAT EXPENSIVE GATE, THE ROLLING GATE FOR THE BUSSES.

THAT'S TO ALLOW THE BUSSES TO COME AND GO WITH THE GATE TO STAY CLOSED, AND SO IF YOU WANT TO DO A COMPLETE LOCKDOWN, WE'RE SET UP FOR LOCKDOWN , AND THEN THE ONLY ACCESS POINT IN THEORY WOULD BE AT THE FRONT DESK WHERE YOU HAVE TO COME IN AND THEY BUZZ YOU IN AND YOU [INAUDIBLE] IN THE SCHOOL.

SO WHAT ABOUT THAT MURAL ON THE SIDE OF THE PAC? WHAT'S THE MOVEMENT ON THAT OR DISCUSSION? NO. OKAY.

OKAY. OH, THE ROOF ON THE PAC, SOMEBODY ASKED ME THIS.

[00:45:04]

IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S BEEN IN A STATE OF UNFINISHED STATE FOR A WHILE.

AS FAR AS THE TRIM AROUND THE WALLS.

WHAT'S GOING ON THERE. SO SOMEBODY ELSE ASKED ME THAT.

I THINK WHAT PEOPLE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT IT WAS GOING TO SIT FOR A WHILE WHILE WE WAITED TO PUT THE HVAC EQUIPMENT IN THE BUILDING.

SO IT WAS, YOU KNOW, CUT OPEN IN THE ROOF TO LOWER HVAC IN THERE.

SO THEY WERE NOT HERE FOR A WHILE WHILE THAT AND THE HVAC GOT DELAYED A LITTLE BIT.

SO [INAUDIBLE].

ADDITIONALLY, WE PULLED THE ROOFING OFF TO DO A SEISMIC UPGRADE.

SO WE HAD TO HAVE TIME TO ACTUALLY DO THE SEISMIC UPGRADE BEFORE WE PUT THE ROOFING BACK , AND SO NOW THAT ACTUALLY ENCOUNTERED SOME DRY ROT OVER THE STAGE.

SO JUST GETTING PICTURES ABOUT THAT TODAY.

SO THAT'S SOMETHING THAT'S GOING TO NEED TO BE PREPARED BEFORE WE PUT THE ROOFING BACK.

OKAY. SO WE GOT I MEAN, WE HAD TO HAVE TIME TO DO ACTUALLY THE SEISMIC THIS WASN'T A ROOFING PROJECT.

THIS WAS A SEISMIC UPGRADE.

SO THE PROCESS WAS DO THE HAZARDOUS MATERIAL ABATEMENT, PULL THE ROOFING OPEN, DO ALL THE STRUCTURAL UPGRADE, AND THEY'RE DONE.

NOW WE PUT THE ROOFING BACK, IF THAT MAKES SENSE.

YEAH. SO THE ROOFING IS NOT.

I'M SORRY, I DIDN'T REALIZE THE ROOFING WASN'T ON THE SOUTH SIDE YET.

[INAUDIBLE] THE NORTH SIDE, BASICALLY.

CORRECT. GOT IT , AND I'M LOOKING AT THE CAMERA RIGHT NOW AND IT LOOKED LIKE THEY GOT THAT CURB AND GUTTER ALL INSTALLED HEADING TO THE BUS LOOP, WHICH THEY CAN START PREPPING FOR ASPHALT.

[INAUDIBLE] THAT ROAD GETS TWO LIFTS DOWN TO THE BUS LOOP, RIGHT? AND THEN THE PARKING LOT IS LIKE A THREE INCH OR WHATEVER.

YEAH, THAT'S ALL HEAVY DUTY.

I FORGET IF IT'S [INAUDIBLE].

[INAUDIBLE] IT'S HEAVY DUTY BUS TRAFFIC.

SO AND THEN THE OTHER THING WE'VE BEEN TRYING TO BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT IS LOOKING FOR SOFT SPOTS, EVEN IN THE OTHER SECTIONS, TO MAKE SURE WE'RE KEEPING THOSE OUT AND BACKFILLING TO WHERE WE HAVE A GOOD SUBGRADE FOR THE LIGHTER SECTION. SO WE'VE ACTUALLY DONE A FAIR AMOUNT OF THAT.

FORTUNATELY, IT HASN'T BEEN A HUGE FOOTPRINT OVER THE WHOLE PARKING LOT, BUT IT'S BEEN MAINLY ON THE KIND OF THE CORRIDOR BETWEEN THE TENNIS COURTS AND THE PACK AND JUST HEADING SOUTH.

IT'S ALL KIND OF BEEN LEAPFROGGING THROUGH THAT SECTION.

SO WE'VE ACTUALLY OVEREXTEND BACKFILLED PROBABLY 3 OR 4 DIFFERENT SECTIONS THROUGH THERE.

SO I JUST GOT AN EMAIL.

THERE'S ONE MORE WE NEED TO REMEDY IN THE MORNING.

[INAUDIBLE]. WHAT'S THAT? [INAUDIBLE] WATER SAT IN THERE PRETTY GOOD.

OH, YEAH. PRETTY GOOD WITH IT BEFORE, I THINK.

GOOD PUDDLES. WELL, I KNOW EVEN WITH AS DRY AS IT'S BEEN LAST WEEK WHEN I WAS OUT PROBING IT THAT THE DIRT WASN'T COMING UP WET, BUT IT WAS CERTAINLY DARK AND HE WAS STILL HOLDING MOISTURE.

SO, YEAH, SO YOU EVEN IN THE DRY TIMES THERE'S STILL QUITE A BIT OF MOISTURE [INAUDIBLE].

THAT CEDAR TREE THAT'S ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PAC DID THEY NOTICE ANY DAMAGE? OBVIOUSLY, THEY EXCAVATED ALL THE PAVEMENT, THE SIDEWALKS.

DID THEY NOTICE THAT THE RUTS WERE SHALLOW, THAT IT WAS DAMAGING ANY OF THE PAVEMENT? I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER.

IS THAT SOMETHING YOU SAW? NO, I'M JUST ASKING.

I JUST I LIKE THE FACT THAT WE KIND OF STARTED FRESH ON THE SOUTH SIDE.

I WONDERED ABOUT THAT BECAUSE IT'S GOT TWO TOPS TO IT, TOO.

YOU ALL HAVE TO DISCUSS THAT WITH MARK AND JAMIE FROM THE DISTRICT.

I WANTED TO [INAUDIBLE] I GOT OVERRULED, AND HE SHOULD HAVE, AND THEY HAVE TO YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TREES TOO.

IT WAS WHY IT WAS WHY THAT ONE STAYED.

THE OTHER ONES WERE TOO CLOSE TO THE BUILDING.

THERE WAS [INAUDIBLE] I WANTED THE ONES WHO BUILT THE BUILDINGS THAT WERE BIG.

[00:50:04]

IT'S A NICE TREE. LOOKING AT IT RIGHT NOW.

I HAD A TREE LIKE THAT, [INAUDIBLE] THE FIRST ONE OF THE TOPS BROKE OUT OF IT.

SO THEN SHORTLY AFTER THAT [INAUDIBLE] THAT'S AN OLD TREE, TOO.

IS THERE MORE SIGNAGE GOING UP ON THE GRANDSTANDS? THERE IS ON THE TICKET BOOTH [INAUDIBLE].

JUST THE WORDS OR JUST THE LETTERS? NO. CAN'T REMEMBER IF THERE WAS A LOGO.

THERE WAS A LOGO. [INAUDIBLE] I HOPE THERE IS.

IT WAS LIKE A HUNDRED GRAND. OKAY.

NO, GIVE ME FIRED UP ABOUT THIS ONE AGAIN.

[INAUDIBLE] TO GO UP ON THE SCOREBOARD TOO.

HOLD ON, SAY IT AGAIN.

THERE'S A SIGN THAT SAYS 2005 STATE CHAMPS FOR THE THAT GOES UNDERNEATH THE [INAUDIBLE].

YEAH, I THOUGHT I REMEMBER SEEING IT.

I THOUGHT I REMEMBER SEEING A LOGO THAT GOES ON [INAUDIBLE].

SHOULD BE A LOGO, I BELIEVE, RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE TICKET BOOTH OR THE PRESS BOX.

PRESS BOX. YEAH.

YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I REMEMBER TOO.

THAT'S WHY I LOOKED AT YOU. I JUST, YOU KNOW.

WELL, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A SHORT MEETING.

I THOUGHT I'D BE HERE. SO WE GOT A MINIMUM OF [INAUDIBLE] ROOM AND A TICKET BOOTH SIGNED FOR $142,000.

NICE. HOPE THERE'S SOMETHING ELSE COMING.

YES. OKAY.

YEAH, THAT'S GOOD.

GIVE EXAMPLES. I MEAN, EVERYBODY GOT THAT? YEAH. YEAH, YOU GOT THE LOGO THAT GOES ON THE FIN OF THE TICKET BOOTH AND THE CENTER OF THE PRESS BOX, AND THEN THERE'S SIGN POLE OR LIGHT POLE.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE HIGH SCHOOL? OH, DID ANYBODY SHOW UP AND GET PUT IN? I NEED TO GET AN UPDATE ON THAT.

I BELIEVE THEY HAVEN'T AND THAT THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BE INSTALLING THEM AFTER SCHOOL HAS STARTED.

I HEARD ANYTHING DIFFERENT.

JAMIE.

WHAT WAS THE QUESTION? THE MINI BLINDS ON THE BLINDS, THE WINDOW.

THE SHADES. THE WINDOW SHADES.

WE'RE STILL WAITING ON [INAUDIBLE] FROM HUNTER DOUGLAS.

WE ALSO NEED TO GET THE COMMERCIAL.

YEAH, THERE'S NO [INAUDIBLE] MARKET.

WE'VE GOT SEVERAL ON OUR LIST THAT WE'RE GOING TO FORM A CO OP IF YOU GUYS WANT TO GET IN ON IT.

YEAH, SOMETHING I THINK RE-SEALCOATING PARKING LOTS IS PROBABLY THE NEXT ONE.

PRETTY GOOD [INAUDIBLE], HUH? YEAH. NICE. ALL RIGHT.

A LITTLE BIT OFF TOPIC, BUT THERE WAS A COMMENT MADE EARLIER ABOUT AN EVENT HAPPENING, BUT THEN NO DETAILS.

THERE'S NO EVENT.

WITH THE OPENING OF THE FIELD, [INAUDIBLE]SAID THERE WAS SOMETHING GOT APPROVAL SPAGHETTI FEE.

THANK YOU. I JUST FINISHED.

IT'S POSTED OUT [INAUDIBLE].

INSIDE THE BUILDING [INAUDIBLE].

THE DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT NEXT FRIDAY.

YEAH.[INAUDIBLE].

YOU'RE EXPECTED TO BE THERE.

THANK YOU. ALL RIGHT.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ON THE HIGH SCHOOL? I KNOW I WASN'T HERE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT.

I'M GOING TO PASS ON SOMETHING THAT MY WIFE HEARD FROM SOMEONE IN THE COMMUNITY THAT IS A LITTLE BIT FRUSTRATING.

[00:55:06]

SO THEY TOLD HER THAT WE'RE WAY OVER BUDGET, WHICH IS WHY WE'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING.

WE'RE NOT DOING ENOUGH IN THE PAC.

SO BRANDON IS KIND OF THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE VERY GOOD INFORMATION, BUT I THINK IT'S SOMEHOW GETTING THAT RIGHT INFORMATION OUT THAT WE HAVE ACTUALLY DOUBLE OF WHAT WAS ORIGINALLY BUDGETED FOR THE PARK.

WE'RE STILL MAKING IT HAPPEN, BUT SOMETHING THAT SAID CAME FROM ONE OF OUR FRIENDS IN THE COMMUNITY.

SO THAT I THINK, IS GOING TO BE HOW SOME PEOPLE THAT ARE WALKED A LOT IN THE PAC ARE GOING TO ARE SPINNING THINGS THAT SOME OF THE THINGS THAT THEY'RE NOT, THEY MAY NOT GET RIGHT AWAY.

WELL, THE INTERESTING THING IS I REMEMBER BEING AT THAT MEETING AT NORTH BELLINGHAM WHERE THE PACK BUDGET GOT CUT IN HALF FROM 4 MILLION TO 2 MILLION, AND SO THE COOL THING IS, IS WE'RE ACTUALLY GOING TO BE ABLE TO SPEND WHAT WAS NEEDED ORIGINALLY , BUT THAT DOES A REALLY GOOD POINT ABOUT BEING ABLE TO HAVE PROPER MESSAGING ABOUT THAT.

YEAH. DOES IT SAY, LIKE, SOMEWHERE? SOMEHOW? YEAH.

THAT ALL THE ADDITIONAL COST [INAUDIBLE] AS WELL AS ENCOMPASSING ALL THE TASKS WITHIN BUDGET, RIGHT. THAT'S A PRETTY COOL THING.

AS WELL AS ALL THE ALTERNATES WE TOOK THAT WEREN'T IN THE ORIGINAL.

SO YEAH, THAT AND THAT WORRIES ME GETTING INTO VOTING SEASON AGAIN.

THAT'S WHY I SAY IT. SO IF THAT MESSAGE HANGS OUT THERE THAT WE'RE OVER BUDGET AND WE'RE NOT DOING WHAT WE SAID.

THAT COULD HURT US.

DEFINITELY HURT US IN NOVEMBER OR FEBRUARY.

EXCUSE ME. OUR BEST ADVOCATES ARE KRISTI AND RACHEL, MAKING SURE THAT WE'RE COMMUNICATING ENOUGH WITH THEM TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY UNDERSTAND THAT THEY'RE THEY'RE GETTING BASICALLY $4 MILLION IN VALUE.

YEAH, BUT IT'S JUST A NICE I MEAN, IT'S AN IMPORTANT REMINDER OF I THINK THAT MESSAGE IS OUT THERE, AND THEN TO HAVE SOMEBODY SAY THAT TO MY WIFE, AND SO WE STILL HAVE WORK TO DO.

SO DO YOU THINK THAT WE COULD IN THAT COMMUNICATION AD, I MEAN, NOT ONLY DID WE GET ALL OF THE BACK OF HOUSE STUFF BASICALLY DONE AS FAR AS THE MECHANICAL STUFF, BUT THERE WAS A NEW CARPET PAINTING, CEILING TILES.

THERE WAS A LOT OF STUFF THAT HAPPENED THAT WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.

RIGHT? SO MAYBE THAT COULD ALL BE [INAUDIBLE] IN SOME KIND OF COMMUNICATION.

I THOUGHT IT'D BE GOOD TO BRING IT UP IN PUBLIC UPDATES.

NOT TO KNOCK THE [INAUDIBLE] UPDATES, BUT I THINK PEOPLE GET A LITTLE BIT LIKE THEY JUST GET A LITTLE BIT NUMB TO THEM.

SO MAYBE THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED, YOU KNOW, SEPARATELY.

IS THERE LIKE STAFF ORIENTATION BY DEPARTMENT OR PROGRAM, LIKE THE FACT THAT YOU ACTUALLY GET THEM IN A ROOM AND UPDATE THE STAFF? BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE THE INFORMATION IS COMING FROM IS THE OCCUPANTS OF THAT BUILDING.

TUESDAY THE 29TH.

YEAH, JUST PUT A TEN MINUTE ITEM ON THE LIST TO TALK ABOUT AND SAY THESE ARE THE UPDATES DONE TO THE BUILDING WITHOUT MAKING IT A BIG DEAL BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY PEOPLE AREN'T UP TO DATE ON THEIR INFORMATION.

THEY'RE STILL GOING ON THE SAME ARGUMENT FROM A YEAR AND A HALF AGO WHEN IT WAS REALLY UNCLEAR, AND NOW YOU CAN ACTUALLY POINT AND SAY, HERE'S WHAT IT IS.

SO IF YOU GET THE OCCUPANTS OF THE PACK ON BOARD, IT'S GOING TO TRICKLE DOWN INTO THEIR PEOPLE TO HOPEFULLY THEY WON'T USE IT AGAINST US BECAUSE YOU CAN START SHOWING THEM HOW MANY HIGH SCHOOLS DEMOED THEIR PACK TO NEVER REPLACE IT BECAUSE IT'S JUST NOT SOMETHING FUNDED ANYMORE.

YOU KNOW, WE STILL HAVE ONE.

IT'S PART OF THE REASON WHY THE STATE STAYED.

YEAH, SO WE STILL HAVE IT ON JUST BECAUSE THE COST TO YOU TO REPLACE WE WERE NEVER GOING TO REPLACE THAT SIZE AND FOOTAGE AND NO ONE'S DOING THAT AND EVERYBODY'S REDUCING.

[01:00:02]

SO THERE'S SO MANY ARGUMENTS OF WHY WE SHOULD BE VERY THANKFUL ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE AT THIS MOMENT, BUT 100%, IT STARTS WITH THE STAFF.

YOU KNOW, THE PEOPLE THAT SPEND EIGHT HOURS A DAY IN THAT BUILDING.

SO THE QUESTION THE FIRST OF THOSE THAT WERE ON THE BOND TASK FORCE [INAUDIBLE].

WHAT WAS THE ORIGINAL PROMISE TO THE COMMUNITY? THE ORIGINAL [INAUDIBLE] WELL, ESSENTIALLY, WHAT WE'VE BEEN ABLE TO DO, WE JUST DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE SEISMIC UPGRADE COMPONENT. SO ESSENTIALLY WHAT HAPPENED IS WE HAD $2 MILLION ALLOCATED FOR ESSENTIALLY COSMETIC AND SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS, WHICH INCLUDED THE DRAPES, THE LIGHTS.

THAT'S WHAT I WAS TRYING TO GET AT, IF THE DISTRICT HAD ALREADY COMPLETED WHAT WAS COMMITTED TO OR NOT, WE'RE NOT QUITE THERE YET, BUT IT'S CLOSE.

OKAY, AND THERE WAS SOME GRAY AREA IN THE BOND LANGUAGE VERSUS THE TASK FORCE LANGUAGE ABOUT WHAT EACH PART AND PIECE WAS INCLUDED AND WHAT WASN'T.

SO THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF, I DON'T KNOW, MISUNDERSTANDING OR JUST VAGUENESS IN THE LANGUAGE THAT LED TO SOME CONFUSION ABOUT WHAT WAS INCLUDED , BUT ESSENTIALLY WHAT WE'VE DONE, WHAT WE'RE HOPING TO DO IS EVERYTHING THAT WAS PART OF THE BOND TASK FORCE RECOMMENDATION, PLUS THE SEISMIC UPGRADE.

RIGHT. THAT'S VERY CLOSE TO BEING.

THAT'S MY POINT IS ESSENTIALLY THE DECISION WAS MADE TO THE COMMUNITY AND WHETHER IT'S NOT OVER BUDGET, BUT THOSE ARE DUCTS.

THAT IS THE OVER [INAUDIBLE] OF THE WHOLE THING.

[INAUDIBLE] SAYING THAT THERE WERE ADDITIONAL COSTS THAT WE DIDN'T PLAN FOR IN THE BEGINNING, BUT WE STILL WERE ABLE TO FIT IT IN BUDGET.

THAT'S THE MESSAGE.

IT'S NOT. YEAH.

WELL, AND I THINK TO YOUR POINT YOU MADE EARLIER, I THINK THAT I MEAN, IT'S BEEN SO LONG NOW THAT PEOPLE FORGET THE AUXILIARY GYM WAS NOT PART OF THE ORIGINAL PLAN.

ALL OF THE AG SCIENCE AND ALL THE OUTBUILDINGS WERE BEHIND THE WEIGHT ROOM.

WE'RE NOT PART OF THE ORIGINAL PLAN.

SO THOSE THINGS WEREN'T THAT WAS, I THINK, LIKE $7 MILLION WORTH OF WORK IF MY MEMORY IS CORRECT , BUT THAT STUFF WAS NOT PART OF THE ORIGINAL BUDGETED PLAN, AND BECAUSE OF THE WAY IT WAS BOUGHT OUT AND BID OUT, WE WERE ABLE TO TAKE THOSE ALTERNATES AS WELL, AND THE WAY WE INVESTED THE MONEY OR INVESTED THE MONEY, CORRECT? YEAH, THAT'S WHY WE GOT IT ON THE STREET FAST, RIGHT? CORRECT. SO WE HAD SOME HICCUPS DOWN THE ROAD FROM DOING THAT, BUT WE SAVED ENOUGH MONEY TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON THE ALTERNATES.

SO WE GOT IT OUT, SAVE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

THE PARK IS OVER BUDGET. THAT'S NOT THE BUDGET WAS $2 MILLION FOR THE PARK.

THAT IS OVER BUDGET, BUT BECAUSE THE OVERALL PROJECT HAS PERFORMED WELL ENOUGH, THE MONEY THAT WAS INVESTED IS PERFORMED WELL ENOUGH.

THERE'S MONEY WITHIN THE ORIGINAL BOND ALLOCATED FUNDING.

WE'RE NOT ASKING WE'RE NOT USING ANY GENERAL FUND MONEY OR ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM THE COMMUNITY OUTSIDE OF THE BOND TO DO EVERYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED WITHIN THE BOND.

CORRECT. [INAUDIBLE] CORRECT, BUT [INAUDIBLE] GO OUT TO THE PUBLIC AND BRAG ABOUT [INAUDIBLE] THE PAC IS ACTUALLY FINANCE THE REMAINING PART? NO, I WOULDN'T NECESSARILY BRAG ABOUT THEM, NOT TILL THE PAC IS.

I WOULDN'T HIDE THE FACT THAT WE DID MORE UNTIL IT'S OVER AND SAY WE'RE NOT OVER BUDGET.

EVERYTHING, AND YOU GOT MORE FOR YOUR DOLLAR.

I AGREE. IT'S GREAT. IT'S JUST I'D BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT BRAGGING ABOUT PUTTING ALTERNATES INTO THE SYSTEM UNTIL THE BIDS ARE BACK AND THE PAC IS DONE.

AGREED. I WOULD NOT MAKE THAT YOUR PR CAMPAIGN RIGHT NOW.

OKAY. I MEAN, IT SHOULD BE, THOUGH WHEN THIS HAPPENS.

OH, IT'S DONE. ABSOLUTELY.

OR YOU CAN JUST BE HONEST WITH PEOPLE.

CAN WE STILL FIDDLE AROUND WITH WHEN YOU TAKE OUT THE SEISMIC? WE STILL HAVE SPENT WHAT WE SAID WE WERE GOING TO SPEND IT, RIGHT?

[01:05:05]

THAT'S TRUE. YEAH. I THINK YOU NEED TO JUST BE HONEST AND JUST SAY WE HAD ADDITIONAL COSTS, BUT WE STILL FOUND MONEY.

I MEAN, HONESTLY KILLS RUMORS EVERY SINGLE TIME.

SO I FEEL LIKE THERE'S VALUE IN THAT.

YEAH, AND THE TERM OVER BUDGET IS WHAT I OBVIOUSLY WAS.

IT'S A FAIR TERM FOR THE PAC.

IT'S NOT AN UNFAIR TERM FOR THE PAC, IN MY OPINION.

THE PROBLEM IS YOU CAN'T SEPARATE THAT FROM THE TOTAL PACKAGE.

NO, [INAUDIBLE] THEY ARE ASSUMING YOU'RE OVER BUDGET [INAUDIBLE] PROJECT.

YEAH, THAT'S THE TOUGH PART.

SO OBVIOUSLY THAT MESSAGE IS GETTING OUT THAT WE ARE AND THEY CAN'T SEPARATE THE FACT THAT WE'RE WE JUST SPENT MORE WITHIN THE MONEY WE WERE WE'RE UNDER BUDGET IN [INAUDIBLE] ON THE HIGH SCHOOL THE NEW CONSTRUCTION WORK.

SORRY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO TAKE UP SO MUCH TIME BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS IMPORTANT TO SAY PUBLICLY SINCE I HEARD THAT.

I'LL ADD ONE QUICK COMMENT.

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU GUYS ARE SAYING ABOUT COMMUNICATING REALLY WELL TO THE PUBLIC, BUT THEN ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT AT THE END OF THE DAY, EVEN WHEN YOU DO ALL THAT, PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE AND YOU WILL STILL HAVE PEOPLE THAT BELIEVE THAT YOU'RE OVERBUDGET.

IT'S JUST THERE'S I CAN THINK BACK TO EVEN JOBS I DID IN 2010 WHERE THERE'S STILL RUMORS FLOATING AROUND THAT SIMPLY WEREN'T TRUE BUT WERE GROSSLY INACCURATE, BUT SO, YES, I TOTALLY AGREE, AND I THINK GOING TO THAT EFFORT, I THINK WHEN EVERYTHING IS ALL SAID AND DONE, YOU KNOW, KIND OF LAYING OUT THE STORY IS REALLY IMPORTANT, BUT YOU STILL WILL HAVE THOSE NAYSAYERS THAT THEY JUST WANT TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY BELIEVE.

CAN YOU TALK ABOUT THE GYM FLOOR? WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE GYM FLOOR? [INAUDIBLE] THE SHORT VERSION IS WE WERE VERY UNSATISFIED WITH OUR ORIGINAL INSTALLER , AND SO WE TRIED TO CAREFULLY WALK THE LINE TRYING TO GET HIM TO MAKE THE REPAIRS ON HIS OWN ACCORD.

PUSH CAME TO SHOVE, HE DID NOT.

SO JAMIE REACHED OUT TO HIS NORMAL GYM FLOOR PERSON AND WE HIRED THEM, AND WE'RE DEDUCTING NOW WHAT WE'RE PAYING THEM OUT OF THE CONTRACT FROM THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR.

SO NOW WE SWITCHED FROM A WATERBORNE FINISH, WHICH WASN'T PRETTY AND SHINY.

NOW WE HAVE PRETTY AND SHINY, AND YOU CAN SEE THE REFLECTION LIKE YOU'RE USED TO SEEING AT THE GYM FLOOR--IT LOOKS PHENOMENAL--AND IT LOOKS GREAT.

SO WE CAN CLEAN IT BETTER.

SO WE DID.

SO THE WATER BASED FINISH IS NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME YET.

THERE'S PROS AND CONS, RIGHT? SO BUT WE'RE NOT WE DECIDED TO MOVE ON FROM IT AND MAYBE IT CATCHES UP IN A COUPLE OF YEARS LIKE KRISTIN SAID, BUT WE DECIDED TO.

OKAY. AWESOME. YEAH I THINK THE WHAT YOU EXPECT TO WALK INTO IN A BRAND NEW GYM WATER BASED DOES NOT PROVIDE YOU THAT WHAT YOU'RE USED TO, AND THERE'S SOME ADVANTAGES ON DURABILITY AND THINGS THAT GO WITH HAVING OIL BASED, AND SO COINCIDENTALLY, WHAT MOST PROFESSIONAL FLOORS LIKE THE CELTICS FLOOR MAYBE THE SEALER COAT IN WATER AND THE OIL BASED ON THE [INAUDIBLE].

SO WE HAVE WHAT THE PROFESSIONALS HAVE NOW.

YOU HAVE TO REFINISH AT ALL? HE REPAINTED A BUNCH OF IT.

IT'LL TOUCH UP A LOT OF ISSUES WITH THE PAINT JOB IN IT TOO.

SO YEAH HE CAME IN AND ABRADED IT.

WE ACTUALLY HAVE A MORE NAVY BLUE.

HE COMPLETELY REDID THE BLUE.

HE DID A LOT OF THE LOGOS OVER, HE DID GOOD WORK.

NOT ALL GOT DONE. IT'S ALL DONE AND READY FOR TODAY FOR VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE.

HE STARTED YESTERDAY. GOT IT STARTED YESTERDAY.

DID THE OXYGEN. YEP.

YEP. SAME THING.

YEP. ALL RIGHT.

AWESOME. YEAH. GOOD JOB, FELLAS.

A LITTLE FIGHT. WE WAITED A WHILE TO GET THROUGH IT, BUT WE GOT TO WHERE WE WANTED TO BE AND DIDN'T COST US ANY MONEY.

WELL, IT WAS KIND OF SAD BECAUSE, YOU KNOW THE GUY WHO DID THE WORK.

[01:10:05]

YEAH, THAT. GOOD LUCK WITH THEM, AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, SOMETHING JUST CHANGED.

I DON'T KNOW IF HE'S READY TO RETIRE OR WHAT, BUT IT WAS A LITTLE BIT DISCOURAGING BECAUSE HE'S ALWAYS WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN BUDDIES, YOU KNOW, AND SO [INAUDIBLE] TURNED OUT THAT WAY, BUT WE'VE COME THROUGH AND ARE PROVIDING A GOOD FLOORING.

ALL RIGHT. ANY SIGNIFICANT UPDATE ON CRITICAL PROJECT STUFF? WE'RE LIKE THE HOT WATER TANKS.

WE'RE WAITING ON ONE BIG ONE AT VISTA THAT WE'LL HAVE TO CONTRACT OUT [INAUDIBLE], ONE THAT'S IN THE LOCKER ROOM.

OTHER THAN THAT, I THINK EVERY SINGLE OTHER ONE IS DONE UNTIL WE FINISH THAT HERE IN THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS IN HOUSE.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU I HADN'T TOLD KEN.

HE HADN'T MENTIONED HOW FAR YOU WERE.

YOU JUST SAID YOU WERE HAD BEEN WORKING ON IT.

WE SHOULD BE. DO YOU HAVE THE ONE AT VISTA? JUST HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHEN TO [INAUDIBLE].

THAT'S A BIG ONE.

ANY ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER? OKAY. SEPTEMBER 15TH [INAUDIBLE].

ADJOURNED. THANK YOU.
